Privacy Policy

MelodyRide uses a temporary guest session to run the game and record leaderboard results. You do not need an account.

Information we use

• Game data: your nickname, guest and run identifiers, game inputs, timing, points and distance.
• Connection data: technical information, such as your IP address and browser, used to deliver and protect the website.
• Email: your email address, message and any attachments when you contact us.

Game data supports gameplay, leaderboards and checks against invalid scores. Email information is used to respond to you. Your nickname and results can appear publicly on leaderboards, so choose a nickname you are comfortable sharing.

Storage

The guest cookie expires after 24 hours. Saved browser settings remain until cleared. See our Cookie Policy.

Game and leaderboard records do not currently have a fixed automatic deletion period. Cookie expiry or clearing browser data does not delete these server records. You can request deletion by email.

Service providers

Cloudflare provides website and game-server infrastructure. Domain email is received through Google infrastructure.

Google privacy and cookie settings

We use Google Privacy & messaging to manage advertising privacy choices where the message applies. Advertising is not currently enabled: ad requests remain paused, including after consent. Google scripts still load and receive connection and browser information; existing Google-domain cookies may be read. Choosing Consent is optional and does not start an ad or change the game rules.

You can reopen the Google message through Privacy and cookie settings on the game or pause screen. Your choices may be stored in cookies by Google. These choices are separate from the game storage described here. See Google Privacy Policy and Google cookie information.

Your rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, and restriction, objection or portability where applicable. Email contact@melodyride.com. We may need information to verify that the records are yours.

We normally respond within one month and will explain any permitted extension. You can complain to your local data protection authority.
